PARC received a Pepsi Refresh Your Community Grant and was proud to bring Art in the Park to Bladensburg on September 24, 2011. This free community event brought  dance, art and literature to the community in a fun and participative format. The day featured free dance classes for all ages, including Hip Hop, Step and Jazz. There were craft activities, face painting, book giveaways, music and food. PARC partnered with the Town of Bladensburg to hold the event at the Bladensburg Community Center.
