The Performing Arts Repertory Company (PARC) presented the 4th Annual Celebration of International Dance, a program of classical ballet and traditional international dance for children of all ages on December 1st 2006 at the Allan Choitner Auditorium at High Point High School in Beltsville. The program featured Winter Concert Works, a variety of repertory dances or short dances performed by local dancers from the Ballet Academy of Beltsville.

These included excerpts from The Nutcracker Suite including the Sugarplum pas de deux, the Russian Dance, Dance of the Reed Flutes, the Bon-Bons, Arabian, Spanish, Chinese, and the Snow Scene. The program also included Vivaldi's Seasons, Raymonda, Who Cares, Le Petite Fleur and a special encore performance of Exhibits. Exhibits, which debuted last Spring, taking the audience to the art museum where the visual art takes the stage. Art went into the 3rd dimension as Picasso, Matisse, Renoir and Tarkay art were brought to life by the dancers.

The evening program also featured traditional Chinese Dance performed by artists from the Hua Sha Chinese Dance Center, contemporary Peruvian dance performed by Vannia Ibarguen Contemporary Peruvian Dance and classical Indian dance performed by artists from Jayamangala. A special matinee ballet-only performance on December 1st was designed for introducing the art of ballet to elementary school children and was offered at 10:15 am to accommodate local school field trips. At this performance, the dancers came off the stage to greet the audience and allow them to see the costumes up close.
